A new development of modular homes in the Reynoldstown neighborhood of Atlanta will showcase green homes that reflect the traditional character of the neighborhood.

The Legacy Pointe development is a pilot program involving New World Homes and Resources for Residents and Communities. The goal is to connect residents to eco-friendly affordable housing, job opportunities and economic development with easy access to public transportation options. All of the homes are LEED-certifiable.

The 14 homes are based on designs are from New World Homes’ New Old Green Modular housing platform, which can reduce energy use by 50 percent, reduce water use and create a healthier indoor air quality level in comparison to a traditionally built structure. The modular units will be constructed off-site and lifted into place on the foundations.
