Energy-efficient LED lights give homeowners great flexibiity in adding lighting to illuminate workspaces in the home.
The old ways of lighting under cabinets, workspaces, and task areas are giving way to new LED technology, according to Daniel Alvarez, co-founder of LED Distributors in Stanton, Calif. "The manner in which we light our homes has become a lot more simple, efficient and stylish in the last two years,” he said.
LED lighting for work spaces in the kitchen, bathroom, garage and other areas of the home are more energy efficient than incandescent and fluorescent lighting.
For example, LED Distributors launched its new line of fully customizable LED under-cabinet light bars, Alvarez said.
“LED under-cabinet lighting uses 85 percent less energy than traditional lighting applications,” he said. “As incandescent lighting becomes obsolete, new and elegant LED lighting solutions are quickly being introduced.”
