The Lofthouse is the latest in the lineup of green modular structures at Blu Homes. The two-story home can be personalized into a traditional or contemporary aesthetic.
"The Lofthouse is a beautiful, precision-built green home that fits the architectural vernacular of traditional and historic communities," said Maura McCarthy, Blu Homes' co-founder and vice president of sales and marketing. "The charming exterior of the traditional version of the Lofthouse is reminiscent of a New England barn-style home, complete with Colonial-style windows and shutters. The more modern version does away with shutters and expands the windows to provide an uninterrupted view and a true indoor/outdoor living experience."
Blu Homes feature structural steel frames that allow for high ceilings, open spaces and natural light. In addition, the steel construction's strength withstands high snow loads, seismic activity and high winds, and is also fire, mold and termite resistant.
All Blu finishes, fittings, appliances and systems offer high indoor air quality and leading environmental performance for healthier living spaces. Blu Homes can be put up on a building site in one day, and completed in just two weeks.
The Lofthouse starts at $355,000 for the base model, with two-, three- or four-bedrooms and three baths.
