General Shale, the North American subsidiary of Wienerberger AG and a leading manufacturer of brick, one of the world's oldest green building materials, was recently recognized by the Brick Industry Association (BIA) as a multiple winner of 2012 Brick in Architecture awards.
General Shale won three awards in the residential/single family category and an additional award in paving/landscaping architecture. The winning entries are as follows:
