My plane touched down just a few hours ago in Orlando, Fla. I've already been to the Orange County Convention Center to pick up my press registration kit for the National Association of Home Builders' International Builders' Show that runs from tomorrow through Saturday. And for those who need them, it's NAHB and IBS, for short.
But back to my story. Just seeing the nearly empty trade show floor gave me a bit of a thrill. Tomorrow morning, all of the booths and aisles will be packed with everyone ready for the latest info on home building, the state of the industry, and more.
More than 50,000 people are expected to attend the show. So there will be plenty of news for me to share with ProudGreenHome readers.
But that's enough for now. I'm on my way out the door to get a sneak peek at the 2012 New American Home, which is near Winter Park this year.
