Cash for Appliances is a new rebate program offered by the  Department of Energy throughout the 50 states. To stimulate the economy and encourage the use of energy-efficient appliances, the Department of Energy is offering nearly $300 million in rebates on the purchase of select  ENERGY STAR® qualified home appliances.
