2010 Southern Nevada Water Authority green landscape winners
Since 1999, thousands of residents and businesses have upgraded to water-smart designs, collectively saving more than 25 billion gallons of water.

Winning landscapes are judged on their overall beauty, efficient water use, plant selection and design. -

This winning entry sports a distinct Southwest flair. -
When properly irrigated, water-efficient landscapes can use up to 75 percent less water than turf. -
This year the SNWA recognized 13 winners in five categories. -
Winners receive an engraved sandstone for their yard and are honored at an awards breakfast. Additionally, many of the winning landscapes are featured in SNWA’s annual Water Smart calendar, which is distributed to every household in Southern Nevada.
