Event overview

The Green Homes Summit is the region’s foremost event to promote the awareness and adoption of residential building and renovation practices leading to healthy, energy efficient, and environmentally responsible dwellings.  This green event is a must for professionals who design, develop, build, renovate, survey, and market energy saving green homes.

This is a tremendous opportunity to network with industry leaders and a number of conference sessions will be available to earn continuing education credits in two full days of sessions led by industry experts.

The accompanying trade show will feature exhibits of innovative products and services to inspire more sustainable homes for healthful living, and provide an opportunity to consult with manufacturers and suppliers.

The event is conveniently located for attendees from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and other states with a shared interest in sustainable home building and remodeling.

Speakers

To kick off the Summit, Kelsey Mullen, Director of Residential Business Development, U.S. Green Building Council, and Kathy Spigarelli, Deputy Director of RESNET will be the Green Homes Summit keynote speakers on Friday, August 22, at the opening ceremony.

Sessions will include tracks on single-family and multi-family residential buildings, energy rating systems, building certification programs and other aspects of green building. Continuing education credits will be available.
