The editors of ProudGreenHome.com have announced two changes to better serve its audience and expand its coverage of issues related to sustainability and the home.

First is the hire of Jeff Campbell as the site's new products and media editor. Campbell, a former freelance writer for the site and an expert on sustainability who has written for numerous online and print publications, will review and share with readers his discoveries of green-friendly products, books, DVDs and other material.

"Our goal is to be useful to our audience, to help them be inspired and informed," said Joseph Grove, director of content and media. "By providing actionable links and write-ups on products -- such as in Jeff's current feature about insulating products -- we believe we become an even stronger resource for our readers."

Grove said that coming features will focus on biographies of leaders in sustainability, the best how-to books and DVDs and water-saving devices.

In addition, the site has launched an Instagram channel, proudgreenphotos. The channel will aggregate art related to home sustainability, notifications of new documents, photos provided by readers of their projects and more.

ProudGreenHome.com also publishes on Facebook and Twitter.

Finally, the site also announced that Betsy Hay has joined the company as client services coordinator. Hay has an extensive background in project management, client relations and production. Her training, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit accommodate the growth the site expects to make in the coming year as more homeowners, construction executives, manufacturers and legislators embrace the movement toward greater energy efficiency.

The announcements come on the heels of the recent hire of Grove, who was recently named a senior vice president for the company that publishes the site, Sustainable Community Media.
