A more efficient heating source

A more efficient heating source

There are options to radiant floor heating to be sure. Some use water tubing systems while others have various formats of electrical heating. One that has been scientifically proven to be superior to all others is the STEP Warmfloor due to, in part, it’s 12 inch wide footprint. This width covers over 60% of the floor directly under the floor covering, thereby evenly distributing heat with a lower temperature than that is required by other systems. It also has self-regulating properties to enhance efficiency further. When the ambient temperature increases, the electrical resistance increases and the consumption of electricity decreases.

STEP Warmfloor Radiant Heating

The properties of STEP Warmfloor reduce energy consumption by 40-60% compared to other radiant heating options. This creates a continuous even temperature, more efficient than the on-and-off heating system. The self-regulating element acts as a floor sensor, supplying more wattage when cold and less wattage as they warm. It cannot overheat.
