Green Gab Podcast | Sunsets and Changing Climate Zones
The sunsets in Oklahoma City are breath-taking and I’d forgotten how beautiful they are. The climate and the flat landscape are likely some of the reasons. Whatever the reasons, it is a lovely gift of being in a new place and it brings a smile to my heart each time.
The sunsets are only the beginning of living in a new place. Oklahoma is in a different climate zone which brings many adjustments of its own, including a warmer, drier climate with different plants, allergens, etc. The climate changes extend to our home too with different building practices and materials. It is a balancing act to breathe well in our homes and our lives as we encounter chemicals in materials and furnishings inside with allergens and dirt (and more) from the outside environment. Your personal priorities coupled with the climate where you live will help you figure out what works best for you and yours.
