Radiant heat allows heat-by-room efficiency

Radiant heat allows heat-by-room efficiency

Standard forced air heating has one thermostat governing the overall temperature of a home. If that thermostat calls for more heat due to its location and ambient surroundings, the entire home gets a blast of costly heat.

Radiant floor heating by STEP Warmfloor® is a much more efficient and comfortable way to heat a home for many reasons.  Individual rooms can be heated to the desired temperature with its own thermostat.  Why have a spare bedroom or seldom used room heated 24/7?  Some individuals prefer a cooler bedroom while others maybe a bit warmer.  Radiant hear addresses that precisely.  With radiant heat your feet warm comfortably, making you feel comfortable even with a lower ambient room temperature.  As a result, less energy is consumed.

A heat loss calculation is required when installing STEP Warmfloor as a primary hear source.  The heat loss calculation determines the heat output required to heat the room to the desired ambient temperature.
