Self-regulating technology for radiant heat

STEP Warmfloor® is a leading radiant heat matt made of strong, thin plastic that comes in a roll of various widths that can be cut to a desired length and field-wired on site. Its efficiency is based on nano-technology. 

The nano-material modifies its behavior of conduction when it is electrically charged, making it naturally self-regulating. It uses only an amount of energy necessary to maintain an even temperature. It cannot, by its nature, overheat.

Because the Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heater is self-regulating, it has many benefits. As mentioned, it cannot overheat, even under rugs or heavy furniture, drawing only the amount of energy to maintain a determined temperature.  It reacts fast to external temperature changes. It can be placed closer to flooring materials than any other radiant heat option.

In addition, it can go under any nonconductive material, even wood.   Its method of continuous heating is more efficient than any other cycled heating systems.
