Textured Glass in Simulated Divided Light Frames Offers Privacy Element

Feb. 13, 2018

Many homeowners enjoy the look of divided light doors, and often turn to simulated divided light frames because they are easier to install over a single pane of glass, and are less likely to need replacement over time than true divided light frames.

However, divided light frames – simulated or true – often use clear glass, which doesn’t offer homeowners the privacy element that many of them want.

ODL, Inc., a leading building products supplier of decorative and clear door glass and entry treatments, has created a solution. ODL recently introduced two new textures of SDL doorglass that offer moderate to high privacy levels.

The textures – rain and baroque – are subtle to the touch, but bring a unique visual element that clear glass doesn’t provide.
