Turn your heating and cooling system into an efficient one without a full-scale replacement

Turning a heating and cooling unit into an efficient one doesn’t always require a full-scale replacement. Retrofit technology, such as ClimateMaster’s Tranquility digital air handler (TAH) series, can revamp air systems and save consumers money.

The TAH is designed specifically for use with Tranquility indoor and outdoor geothermal split units. It also represents a comprehensive solution for retrofit projects.

The digital air handler fuels high efficiency when paired with a split unit. Such systems are suited for air conditioning large areas. A split-system divides a hot side from a cold side of the system. The cold consists of an expansion valve and cold coil and is placed into a furnace or some other air handler. The air handler blows air through the coil and routes the air throughout the building using a series of ducts. The hot side is the condensing unit that sits outside a structure.

Split units consist of long, spiral coils. Inside the coils are fans that blow air through the coil.

The TAH series uses environmentally friendly Earthpure refrigerant. It also meets federal requirements for a 30 percent tax credit on installation costs.
