Our Actions are Based on a Common Principle: Take Care of the World Around Us.
At Sherwin-Williams, positive change is happening. In our plants, in our stores and in our offices, we’re looking at common items and finding uncommon uses for them. We’re diving into processes and recreating them for the benefit of all. We’re reaching out to the communities around us, and making a difference. Making things better and brighter is what we do. It is the heart of Sherwin-Williams, and it’s been ingrained in our organization for 143 years. Yes, as a company we add color to the surfaces around us. But as a corporate citizen, we call on the vibrancy of our people to truly change the face of our world for the better. And they deliver, time and again. That’s our commitment to caring — and it’s as clear as black and white.
In 2008, Sherwin-Williams formally kicked off a sustainability initiative called EcoVision™. A corporate-wide team was assembled to lead our company’s efforts toward developing a culture of sustainability. Sherwin-Williams' mission of EcoVision™ demonstrates our commitment to being a recognized leader in the development of sustainable processes, products and activities that preserve natural resources, protect the environment, and contribute to social improvement.
