Life is messy, but homeowners can feel better about life's messes, big or small, knowing they have the right tools to clean their homes.

Among these tools, vacuums are one of the most essential as they capture dust, dirt, allergens and debris from floors and surfaces. But, while traditional upright vacuums may capture large debris and particulates, they are actually leaving behind a lot more than meets the eye.

Unlike traditional upright vacuums, which can recirculate uncaptured dirt and allergens into the air, central vacuum systems capture debris and other microparticles and exhausts them to outside the home, instead of recirculating, leaving homeowners with a cleaner home and improved indoor air quality.

For homeowners looking for a quiet, easy-to-use central vac system, the NuTone PurePower Series features a new, improved design that offers effective filtration and is more powerful, quieter and more efficient than past NuTone central vacuum systems.

"Central vacuum systems rival traditional upright vacuums for a number of reasons, including better cleaning performance, ease of maintenance and overall value," said Jessica Lindquist, marketing manager, Low Voltage/Specialty Product Categories, for Broan-NuTone. "The PurePower Series takes these benefits further with their best-in-class filtration that not only gets homes clean, but also creates a healthier living environment by improving indoor air quality."

The sealed HEPA filtration system provides two levels of filtration that ultimately remove up to 99.97 percent of particles. Thanks to its unique glued seams, the filter ensures maximum dust retention, unlike other systems that use stitched permanent filters, which can create microholes for dust to escape. In addition, the secondary exhaust filter removes the motor's carbon dust. By filtering these contaminants at the source, PurePower Series central vacuums may alleviate symptoms of allergies and respiratory problems associated with poor indoor air quality.

The new Thru Flow motor also provides powerful, deep cleaning with up to 650 air watts of suction capability, making the system ideal for homes up to 9,000 square feet.

In addition to their high-quality power and performance, PurePower Series central vacuums feature UltraSilent technology, making them the quietest central vacuums in the industry due to the combination of sound-absorbing materials and assembly techniques. The rigid structure and anti-vibration mounts also limit unit vibration noise.

Once cleaning is done, maintenance of each unit is simple. Because the filter dislodges all dust and particles from its surface when the vacuum is turned on or off, no washing or replacement is required. Additionally, homeowners never have to worry about running out of bags again, thanks to the Flex Collect Debris Disposal hybrid bagging system that offers bagged and bagless options. This allows dust and debris to be collected in the canister even without a bag. The unit's large ergonomic latches make emptying dust and debris easy and convenient.

Lindquist said the NuTone Pure Power Series also has a variety of attachment options that allow consumers to mix and match the right tools for their homes based on flooring types and lifestyle needs, giving them a clean home.
