Developer: Condo tower to be 'healthiest high-rise in Texas'

Developers of a downtown Dallas condo tower are adding wellness features to the list of amenities they hope will draw residents.

Hall Group claims the 28-story Hall Arts Residences building will be the "healthiest high-rise in Texas" when it opens in the Arts District in 2020, reports the Dallas Morning News.

The building is being constructed to minimize indoor air pollution and reduce noise.

The $250 million project under construction will have about 44 condo units priced starting at $2 million. Dallas architect HKS designed the project.

Hall Group is seeking a WELL Multifamily Certification for the condo tower. The WELL designation comes from "a performance-based system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring features of the built environment that impact human health and wellness, through air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind."
