New folding glass walls blur the line between indoor and outdoor living (video)

New folding window wall systems from NanaWall help bring homeowners to blend indoor and outdoor lifestyles.

The NanaWall SL60, suitable for new construction and remodeling projects delivers energy efficiency and tamper-resistant, multipoint locks for added security. “The SL60 has built-in energy efficiency for Title 24 compliance," said NanaWall Systems CEO Ebrahim Nana.

The NanaWall SL60 can be configured to open inward or outward, offering maximum flexibility for each project’s design, and offers swing door capability—either attached to the side jam or within the chain of folding panels. The SL60 provides beautiful aesthetic design and optional Floor Supported Technology, which carries the weight on the floor, thereby reducing costly building modifications.

The company also launched its FoldFlat technology, which allows folding glass wall panels to stack and fold flat against the wall, completely out of the way, Nana noted.

The FoldFlat technology allows folding glass door panels to pivot and stack flat against the adjacent wall. Available in both aluminum- and wood-framed options, this technology is useful for keeping patios, decks and balconies clear of protruding panels. FoldFlat installations provide expanded functional and aesthetic possibilities, virtually eliminating the barrier between spaces and allowing for full usage of the available square footage.
