Next generation closed cell spray foam launched for Canadian market
Building professionals in Canada have a new tool for building high performance homes with the launch of a new closed-cell spray foam from Icynene.
Icynene unveiled its latest closed-cell medium density spray foam innovation – Icynene ProSeal. Icynene ProSeal offers an impressive LTTR RSI 2.02 at 50mm and meets CAN/ULC S705.1 as a Type 2 material, setting the benchmark in optimal thermal performance for commercial and residential construction across Canada.
“Icynene entered the medium-density, closed cell spray foam market in 2010 with our premium MD-C-200 product. Since then our R&D team has worked to develop the next generation of closed-cell products that deliver in performance, applicability and range. Icynene ProSeal marks another step in the ongoing evolution of the insulation industry by Icynene,” said Howard Deck, Icynene president and CEO.
Icynene ProSeal’s formulation allows for a higher initial pass of three inches and is suitable for use all year round. The all-season formulation is suitable for cold weather applications as low as -50 C, making it ideal for the Canadian climate.
