Panasonic Eco Solutions North America earns 2018 Energy Star Award for Excellence

An Energy Star partner since 2010, Panasonic Eco Solutions North America received the 2018 Energy Star Award for Excellence in Product Design.

Panasonic Eco Solutions will be honored April 20 for its outstanding efforts to improve the availability of energy-efficient indoor air quality solutions in the marketplace. Excellence in Product Design is awarded to companies that demonstrate leadership in the design and manufacturing of Energy Star certified products.

“Panasonic Eco Solutions is honored to receive this prestigious award,” said Patricia Monks, National Marketing Manager, Panasonic Eco Solutions North America. “We are deeply committed to the research, development and design of innovative and sustainable products for our customers. This award is an embodiment of our dedication to manufacturing energy-efficient indoor air quality solutions that create healthier, more comfortable indoor living spaces while respecting the environment and reducing costs for consumers.”

With 50 Energy Star certified models available in 2017, Panasonic continues to exceed standards with virtually every product in its lineup where guidelines exist. Panasonic also collaborates with Energy Star and various other organizations to educate consumers about the importance of energy efficiency and indoor air quality.

 “The 2018 Energy Star award winners have demonstrated real leadership, showing how American families and businesses can save energy, save money, and reduce air emissions,” said Bill Wehrum, EPA Assistant Administrator for Air and Radiation.

In 2016 alone, Energy Star certified products, homes, buildings, and plants helped Americans save over $30 billion in energy costs and approximately 400 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity and while achieving broad emissions reductions.
