Energy efficient wastewater treatment system meets global needs for clean water
Unfortunately, the cost of electricity can be a factor in whether people have access to clean water. One company is making it more affordable to treat water around the globe.
That's why Bio-Microbics revamped its Fixed Integrated Treatment Technologies (FITT) that are increasingly used in areas that are water-constrained. This new version of the system is now more energy efficient, using less electricity to provide the same level of clean water.
At the 2015 Greenbuild Expo, Brooke Edwards, sales engineer for Bio-Microbics, described some of the advantages of the new FITT-ee system.
The FITT systems are used successfully for global onsite wastewater, water reuse, and stormwater markets for residential, neighborhood, small municipalities, commercial, and marine properties.
