IBS: Lennox focuses on home comfort solutions
Home comfort comes down to heating and air conditioning and indoor air quality.
Lennox Industries displayed products at the 2014 International Builders’ Show that were targeted at homeowners and builders who want a high degree of home comfort as well as energy efficiency.
Lennox Product Specialist Kyle Dottavio reviewed two key products: the iComfort Wi-Fi thermostat and the mini split heating and cooling system.
The iComfort Wi-Fi thermostat can be controlled by an iPhone, iPad, or Android device, putting precise comfort at homeowners’ fingertips.
It can be paired with the iharmony zoning system to solve the problem of uneven or uncomfortable temperatures throughout a home, and reduces homeowners’ energy costs. The iharmony directs air to specific areas in the home, while decreasing the airflow in others, by using motorized dampers that allow homeowners to change the temperature throughout the entire house or only in particular areas.
The mini split heating and cooling system offers efficient options for hard-to-reach rooms or additions in a home.
