IBS video: Home exteriors designed for curb appeal and performance
Whether a homeowner is updating the home exterior for their own enjoyment or for resale, "Killer Curb Appeal" has benefits for both.
Results of a 2014 consumer snap poll, conducted by Harris Poll on behalf of Ply Gem among homeowners nationwide, 57 percent of respondents said they take equal pride in designing the interior and exterior of their home. Likewise, according to the National Association of Realtors, the look of a home’s exterior can make all the difference at the time of sale, as curb appeal sells nearly 50 percent of all the houses on the market.
At the 2016 International Builders' Show, Mark Montgomery, senior vice president of sales at Ply Gem, reviewed the importance of curb appeal that can also improve a home's performance and comfort.
Montgomery reviewed Ply Gem's designs that make achieving that killer curb appeal simple, with productive design tools and a wide range of product solutions tailored to match the homeowner’s style and budget.
Using Ply Gem’s online Designed Exterior Studio visualizer tool, the buyer can upload a picture of their home and see for themselves the beautiful design options in concert with the depth of the company’s exterior product lines.
